As a retired NYC school teacher, I know first hand how difficult it was to support the needs of all of my students. Since my retirement in 2021, the challenges have multiplied.

Students with ADHD and Executive Function deficits may have unique challenges in the classroom regulating their attention, staying organized, managing time, getting work done, managing their behavior and more.

My research-based trainings for educators includes the following two workshops.

  • Recap from Workshop 1.

  • Explore how executive functions impact academic performance across subject areas.

  • Develop a toolbox of strategies to support your students.

Next steps

After your staff has received the introductory training, the next steps will be a combination of workshops and coaching that will deep dive into interventions to meet the needs of students.

Workshops are customized to meet the school’s needs.

Step 1 - Survey teachers needs

Step 2 - Deliver grade/department level pd/coaching on how specific executive function challenges manifest in their classrooms and strategies to support their students

Workshops may be combined and presented as a full day training.
