Trainings for Educators

As a retired NYC school teacher, I know first hand how difficult it was to support the needs of all of my students. Since my retirement in 2021, the challenges have multiplied.

Students with ADHD and Executive Function deficits may have unique challenges in the classroom regulating their attention, staying organized, managing time, getting work done, managing their behavior and more.

My research based trainings for educators include:

  •  Executive Functions and the Connection to ADHD In this workshop we will define executive functions as a whole and explain the different executive functions, connection to brain function and the connection of those deficits to ADHD; highlighting what struggles look like in a classroom and in the real world for students of all ages. (half day training)

  • Executive Function support strategies - This workshop will be a quick review of the different ef and will provide participants with an array of strategies to support individual students’ unique executive function challenges in the classroom and beyond. (half day training)

**Note - The above workshops may be combined and presented as a full day training.**
